Jorge O. Garcia, MD Dr. Garcia's recently opened practice offers general family medicine and obstetrical care in a bilingual atmosphere. Dr. Garcia maintains professional memberships in the AMA, American Academy of Family Physicians and the Christian Medical and Dental Society. In addition, he is a Diplomate in the ABFP. Dr. Garcia and his wife Susana have one son. Outside of his practice, he enjoys time with his family. He also looks forward to short-term medical mission trips.	Gisella E. Godoy, MD Dr. Godoy has recently joined Emmanuel Family Clinic and will be working in the satellite Saluda office. Dr. Gisella Godoy was born in Peru and her residency at SUNY Buffalo. She maintains professional memberships in the AMA, American Academy of Family Physicians and the Christian Medical and Dental Society. Dr. Godoy and her husband, Dr. Franco B. Godoy, have four children Kathleen, Bernie, Franco and Jackeline. Dr. Gisella Godoy personal interests include mission trips, gardening and reading.
S T A F F	Franco B. Godoy, MD A native of Peru, Dr. Godoy earned his medical degree at the Major National University of San Marcos in Lima, Peru. He served his internship at SUNY Buffalo Family Practice Residency Program, Buffalo, NY and completed his residency training at Seneca Lakes Family Medicine Residency program in Seneca, SC, where he received special training in the area of obstetrics. Dr. Godoy and his wife, Dr. Gisella E. Godoy, have four children. Dr. Franco Godoy's personal interests include spending as much time as possible with family, playing with his children and watching movies.

Housing in available, arranged by Mid-Carolina AHEC - NO PETS, PLEASE.   Or, students may arrange to stay with nearby family or friends.  For security reasons, housing details will be provided to students at orientation.   Questions may be directed to Donna Kern, MD (kerndh@musc.edu).

Students will be notified one week in advance by email to attend the mandatory clerkship Orientation / Academic Days / OSLE on the first 3 days of the rotation.   In addition to clerkship guidelines and instructions, students will be issued laptops with online capability, printers & PDA's--to be used as research & learning tools and to produce required clerkship presentations and documents.
