Main Street, Marion, SC Marion, SC (Mapquest) 1.  Take I-26 W toward N.Charleston/Columbia, go about 52 miles 2.  Merge onto I-95 N (exit 169B) toward Florence, go about 75 miles 3.  Take I-20 SPUR E exit (exit 160A) toward Florence, merge onto I-20 SPUR E, go about 1.8 miles 4.  Turn left onto US 76 E, go about 22.5 miles 5.  Turn slight left onto US 76, go about 1.6 miles 6.  Turn left onto US 501 BR/S Main St/SC 41 ALT; continue to follow US 501 BR/ S Main St for about 1.3 miles

Housing is available at a beautiful bed & breakfast, arranged by Pee Dee AHEC (NO PETS, PLEASE) - or, students may arrange to stay with nearby family or friends.  For security reasons, housing information will be provided to students at orientation.  Questions about housing may be directed to Donna Kern, MD (kerndh@musc.edu).

Students will be notified one week in advance by email to attend the mandatory clerkship orientation on the first day of the rotation.   In addition to clerkship guidelines and instructions, students will be issued laptops with online capability, printers & PDA's--to be used as research and learning tools and to produce required clerkship presentations and documents.
