Useful Info for Students

Housing is available for students in Bamberg (35 minutes from Hampton), managed by Lowcountry AHEC (NO PETS, PLEASE).  Or, students may arrange to stay with nearby family or friends.   For security reasons, housing details will be provided to students at orientation.  Questions may be directed to Donna Kern, MD (kerndh@musc.edu).

Students will be notified one week in advance by email to attend the mandatory clerkship Orientation / Academic Days / OSLE on the first 3 days of the rotation.   In addition to clerkship guidelines and instructions, students will be issued laptops with online capability, printers & PDA's--to be used as research and learning tools and to produce required clerkship presentations and documents.
