Useful Info for Students

Mid-Carolina AHEC has a fully furnished apartment in Chester for students - NO PETS, PLEASE. The apartment is 27 miles from the practice. Or, students may choose to stay with nearby family or friends. Questions may be directed to Donna Kern, MD (kerndh@musc.edu).

Students will be notified one week in advance by email to attend the mandatory clerkship Orientation / Academic Days / OSLE on the first 3 days of the rotation. In addition to clerkship guidelines and instructions, students will be issued laptops with online capability, printers & PDA's--to be used as research & learning tools and to produce required presentations and documents.
