Useful Info for Students

Students will stay in a house in Dillon owned by the hospital - arrangements made through Pee Dee AHEC (NO PETS, PLEASE).  Or students may arrange to stay with nearby family or friends.  For security reasons, housing details will be provided to students at orientation.  Questions may be directed to Donna Kern, MD (kerndh@musc.edu).

Students will be notified one week in advance by email to attend the mandatory clerkship orientation on the first day of the rotation.   In addition to clerkship guidelines and instructions, students will be issued laptop computers with online capability, printers and PDAs--to be used as research and learning tools and to produce required clerkship presentations and documents.
