Housing is NOT available for these sites - students may arrange to stay with nearby family or friends. Also, some students choose to commute from Charleston to the site. Questions may be directed to Donna Kern, MD (kerndh@musc.edu).
Students will be notified one week in advance by email to attend the mandatory clerkship Orientation / Academic Days / OSLE on the first 3 days of the rotation. In addition to clerkship guidelines and instructions, students will be issued laptops with online capability, printers & PDA's--to be used as research & learning tools and to produce required presentations and documents.
