The Chief Operations Officer provides leadership to the following functional activities including employee health and workers compensation, human resources management, insurance programs, mail, occupational safety, parking, press, public safety and law enforcement, radiation safety, transportation services and vending services. The Operations unit has four departments:

The Operations Division Employee of the year is Cheryl Brian. Cheryl has served employees of both at MUSC and MUHA by volunteering her personal time to administer influenza vaccines. In 2007 alone, Cheryl provided hundreds of vaccines to her fellow employees. She also administered vaccines at the Mass Inoculation Disaster Tent, and visited several units at the Institute of Psychiatry and the Main Hospital to administer their flu vaccines. Read more... |
