This 3-day course is designed for otolaryngologists, speech-language
pathologists, and vocal professionals who wish to further their
understanding of voice and co-existing swallowing disorders.
Among the goals of this conference, participants will be introduced
to:

The evaluation and management of difficult voice problems.
Demonstrations of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques will be
performed.

The anatomy and physiology of the aerodigestive tract, with emphasis
on the biomechanics of voice and swallowing.

Evaluation techniques that use advanced diagnostic instrumentation

The interpretation and performance of a videostroboscopic examination.

Medical, surgical, and behavioral management alternatives for organic
and functional voice disorders, with emphasis on diagnostic and
therapeutic dilemmas.
