Parking:

The new Ashley-Rutledge MUSC parking garage is located on the former Charleston High School site.  The garage is now open.  It is accessible from both Ashely Avenue and Rutledge Avenue.

Fifty-six of the 640 spaces are designated for handicap parking, and there are more than 30 spaces immediately adjacent to the garage for handicap parking and vehicles which exceed the 6’8" clearance in the garage.

The garage is served by two elevators. The patient care services are accessible through the climate-controlled crosswalk on the second floor which links the garage and Storm Eye Institute and Children's Hospital.  There is also a raised mid-block crosswalk over Ashley Avenue. Rutledge Tower is accessible from the garage by way of a covered walkway leading to the Rutledge Tower front door.

From the garage to the hospital:

Use the bridge located on Level 2 to enter the hospital.  Turn left upon entering at the information desk and follow the signs to the "A" elevators.  The reception desk is right behind the elevators.

Our clinic:

The Evelyn Trammell Institute for Voice and Swallowing is located near the "A" elevators on the 2nd floor in Rutledge Tower.  After checking in at the reception desk, follow the tiled floor to the back of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and turn right.
