Description
The advanced education
program in Periodontics is to develop specialists with a sound academic
background on which to base clinical treatment, research, and teaching.
All candidates must complete a structured curriculum in the College of
Dental Medicine (M.S.D.. - Master of Science in Dentistry) to receive a Certificate
in Periodontics.
Requirements
Applicants must have
a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
An applicant is expected to demonstrate a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
