Description
For Associate Degree and Diploma prepared registered nurses seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Online learning is a convenient way to earn your Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. It does mean a commitment on your part in regards to time. You also need to be self disciplined and have basic computer competencies. It will be important to be proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint and email. You will be required to come to Charleston during the semester for orientation and occasional seminars. The program has full and part time options. The full time option consists of three semesters of full time study. The part time option is developed on an individual basis with a faculty instructor. Requirements
The College of Nursing seeks to assure diversity among its applicants and student body. Prior nursing experience and a commitment to health care is also valued. To be considered for admission, applicants should have a minimum grade point average of 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale). Prior to entry, sixty semester hours of pre requisite coursework must be completed. A completed application file includes: official application and fee, official transcripts from all post high school education, three satisfactory reference forms, an essay stating your reasons for pursuing a bachelor's degree, a resume and a copy of your current RN license. Students can complete clinicals in regional sites and complete coursework online with a minimal number of visits to campus each semester.

International Applicants
Due to the distance-education nature of this program, MUSC is unable to issue- I-20 forms to allow students to obtain F-1 student visas. Only U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and those holding other valid U.S. visas will be accepted.
