A Master of Science
in Nursing degree completion option for certified Clinical Nurse Specialists.
This graduate program prepares advanced practice nurses to function collaboratively
with physicians and other health care disciplines in providing primary
health care in a variety of ambulatory settings. Health promotion and
disease prevention as well as teaching and counseling of individuals,
families and groups are emphasized. Graduates are eligible to obtain national
certification in their specialty area.
Requirements
Applicants to the
program must have the following: graduate cumulative GPA of 3.0, Master
of Science in Nursing from an accredited school, and undergraduate level
statistics course and health assessment course. Assitional information
