Description
A Master of Science
in Nursing degree program for baccalaureate prepared registered nurses.
This graduate program is designed to develop nurse educators. Graduates
will be educated in the area of innovative teaching strategies such as
online and distance education teaching as well as course and curriculum
development. This graduate will be prepared to teach in clinical specialty
areas in and out of the hospital settings, in traditional classroom settings
and in cyber and distance education class settings. The program focuses
on processes of care management and coordination, teaching-learning theory
and modalities, program development and outcome evaluation and research/data
utilization. Clinical experiences allow for application of the theoretical

Requirements
Applicants to the
program must have the following: graduate cumulative GPA of 3.0, Master
of Science in Nursing from an accredited school, and undergraduate level
statistics course and RN license. Additional information can be found

International Applicants
Due to the distance-education nature of this program, MUSC is unable to issue- I-20 forms to allow students to obtain F-1 student visas. Only U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and those holding other valid U.S. visas will be accepted.
