Description
Approximately 500 undergraduate and graduate students study with an outstanding clinical faculty in an academic health science center environment. Located in the geographic center of campus adjacent to the Medical University Hospital and the other colleges, the College of Nursing is well equipped with clinical and research laboratories. Opportunities for clinical experience in the Medical University Hospital, private, county, and military hospitals, community health agencies, clinics, day care centers, and gerontology facilities provide students with rich backgrounds, preparing them to meet the health care needs throughout the Southeast.

The College of Nursing offers many options to meet the needs of applicants at all levels. In order to assist you in locating the best options for you, please complete the following questions.

Applicants interested in the Doctor of Philosophy-Nursing curriculum can find information about applying here.

Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing
For individuals who are not currently a registered nurse.

Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing
For individuals who are not currently a registered nurse and plan to continue directly into the MSN program.

RN to BSN
For Associate Degree and Diploma prepared registered nurses seeking a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

Post BSN to MSN
For BSN prepared registered nurses seeking a Master of Science in Nursing degree.

Post Master's Certificate
The graduate programs also offer a Post-Master's Study Certificate for registered nurses who have already earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree.
