Description
The Master in Research Administration (MRA) program is designed for professionals working in the research administration field who wish to advance their careers.  Using Internet-based instruction, the program enables students to complete the coursework in four or six semesters, while continuing to work and live in their home communities.  The Masters in Research Administration curriculum consists of 36 semester hours.  Students may select the full-time (four semester) option or the part-time (six semester) course of study.  Full-time students will take three courses per semester while part-time students will take two courses per semester. 

All coursework is completed via internet-based instruction. 

Requirements
At least one year of experience in research administration or sponsored research programs is required. An applicant to the Master in Research Administration program must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning. Applicants are preferred who demonstrate a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all baccalaureate studies. Any previous graduate work should reflect a GPA of 3.0 or above. A formula using the GPA and GRE or GMAT scores is used to assess eligibility for admission.

Application Process
In addition to the application itself the applicant must complete supplemental reference materials specific to the program to which they are applying. Three references from professional and/or academics are required. These forms are provided via email once an application has been submitted. These forms are available in PDF format within the application and are also sent through email once an application is submitted.
