Description
Students may select
a research track in bioinformatics, biostatistics or epidemiology. Research
foci in the department include categorical data analysis; clinical trials;
mathematical modeling; epidemiology in the areas of cancer, injury and
infectious disease, cardiovascular and perinatal epidemiology; environmental
health, genetics; oral health; and bioinformatics. Students receive interdisciplinary
training and the opportunity to collaborate with both basic scientists
and clinicians on their research projects. More information can be found

Requirements
In general applicants
are required to have a cumulative GPA of 3.0, a competitive GRE score, and a baccalaureate
