Description
This program is a
Master of Science degree in Nurse Anesthesia. A nurse anesthetist is a
registered nurse who is also a trained and highly skilled specialist in
the science of anesthesiology. The program has an excellent applicant
pool and has expanded its class size to 28.
The Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia degree will allow greater focus
on scholarly activity for the faculty and students. The average starting
salary for a new graduate is approximately $125,000.
Requirements
Applicants are required
to be licensed as registered professional nurses with a minimum of one
year of nursing experience in a critical care setting. Additional requirements

Students applying to the Anesthesia for Nurses program need to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) in order for MUSC to receive the scores before the November 30, 2011 deadline. Visit the link for additional details http://www.ets.org/gre/revised_general/know. GRE code: 5407
