South Carolina Residency Applicants for admission and students not now holding the status of resident of the State of South Carolina but who are seeking to be classified as a resident of the State are advised to file a petition requesting to be granted that status. Residency is determined by the University Residency Officer in the Office of Enrollment Management, according to the Code of Laws of the State. Procedure and timelines Petitions for classification/reclassification are available both in PDF format (available by clicking below) or in paper form in the Office of Enrollment Management, 41 Bee Street, on the campus in Charleston.

- November 1 - Spring Semester
