The Department of Family Medicine at MUSC is conducting a study to determine if 3 months of a fiber supplement can reduce substances in the blood that indicate your body's level of inflammation and a risk for heart disease.

Candidates should be 40-65 years old and have no history of heart disease.  Having diabetes or high blood pressure is allowed but not required.

Compensation is available.
