Eric Matheson
Eric joined our department as a research fellow in July,
2007. He was born in Melbourne, Florida, which is on the
Space Coast, and later attended college at the University
of Virginia and medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical
School. Ericcompleted his residency training in family practice
in Jacksonville, Florida, at St. Vincent's Hospital. Following
graduation, he practiced at Baptist Primary Care in Jacksonville
where he worked for nearly three years. He also participated
in a number of clinical trials at the Jacksoville Center
for Clinical Research which primary involved phase three
drug testing.
Eric lives on James Island with his wife Brooke and their
son, Peyton.
