The purpose of the Doctoring Curriculum is to prepare students for
their future practice as clinicians by providing them with knowledge
and skills in medical interviewing, the physician-patient relationship,
behavioral science in medical practice, physical examination, clinical
reasoning, medical informatics, evidence based medicine, ethics, disease
prevention, health promotion, medical practice, and professionalism.
The Doctoring Curriculum spans three years of the four-year medical
school curriculum.
