* The training grants listed above take 2-3 doctoral students per year with interests in the areas described under each program. All these training grants are NIH funded and can only accept U.S. Citizens or those with residency status (green card).
Other Funding
For those not on training grants there are other sources of funding. The College of Graduate Studies awards stipends, including a small number to those who are not US citizens or do not have residency status. Various departmental faculty members have grants than can support graduate students. These grants also usually accept a small number of students who are not US citizens or do not have residency status.
