The purpose of the Fundamentals of Patient Care 2B is to prepare students for their future practice as clinicians. Fundamentals of Patient Care 2B provides the students with knowledge and skills in medical interviewing, the physician-patient relationship, behavioral sciences in medical practice, physical examination, clinical reasoning, medical informatics, evidence based medicine, ethics, disease prevention, health promotion, medical practice, and professionalism.
