There is a pressing need for qualified health care administrators to lead healthcare organizations in providing high quality patient care in the most cost-effective manner. These administrators find employment opportunities in a variety of settings -- hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, long-term care facilities, public health agencies, physician-based practices, and managed care organizations. Career opportunities abound for capable, highly skilled individuals. The division of health administration and policy offers two master-level formats for individuals interested in pursuing a career, or furthering a current career, within health care administration.
