Cooper River Bridge Run 2008- April 5, 2008
The purpose of the Cooper River Bridge Run is to promote fitness, health, and improve quality of life. The goal of the Bridge Run is to educate and promote healthier lifestyles therefore making Charleston a healthier community. 

Each year the College of Health Professions encourage faculty, staff, and students to become involved with this great event.  Again this year the College will be giving all CHP participants a custom College of Health Professions Bridge Run T-shirt so sign up today!
Last year over 100 students, faculty, and staff ran, walked, or volunteered.  If you would like to volunteer, please download the form by clicking here and bring to CHP Student Services once completed.  Runners and walkers must register for the Cooper River Bridge Run in addition to this sign up form.  To download application click here or you can register online by visiting the Cooper River Bridge Run webpage: www.bridgerun.com.  Race fees are $25 before March 15 and $30 after. 

This year we are teaming up with the Charleston Miracle League again to help raise funds for their organization. Click on the link above for more information on the Bridging the Gap through Baseball Fundraiser.  We are encouraging participants to create a webpage for the CHP team to help get the word out to others about the organization and the fundraiser, because "Everyone Deserves A Chance to Play Baseball!"  All fundraiser participants will be invited to a pre-race event on March 29 and to the Charleston Miracle League tent in Marion Square after the race!
