Reception Honoring Liz Ricciardone

The College of Health Professions held a reception on June 27, 2006 in the Newberry Room of the CHP Atrium to honor retiring Assistant Dean of Development and Alumni Affairs Elizabeth Ricciardone.  Throughout her twenty-six years of service to the College, Liz, as she is known to her friends and colleagues, helped forge vital relationships within and outside of the College that have been cornerstones of our growth as an institution.  Although she held many titles as both instructor and administrator during her tenure, it was her dedication and devotion to the entire CHP family that bridged the many roles in which she represented the College and touched the lives of students and colleagues alike. The diversity of individuals attending the reception spoke to the extent of Liz’s influence on the College.

On hand to express gratitude and best wishes were Interim Dean and Professor Dr. Becki Trickey, CHP and MUSC administrators, countless faculty and staff, former students and members of the CHP Public Advisory Board.  Also sharing in the celebration of Liz’s many accomplishments and contributions to the College were her husband, Michael, and her four sons, Michael, Philip, Paul, and James.

While her daily presence will be sorely missed, the College of Health Professions looks forward to a new aspect of its relationship with Liz in her role as an alumnus and valued member of the CHP family.
