The Department of Health Administration and Policy (DHAP) Alumni Chapter, in conjunction with the SC Society for Health Information
Systems Science (SCHIMSS), is hosting its 9th Annual Alumni Conference on September 14 and 15, 2006. The DHAP Alumni Chapter is an active group supporting leadership in healthcare and strives to fulfill its mission of supporting the University in its pursuit of excellence in teaching, research and patient care. We also strive to create, foster and nurture relationships between the University, its alumni and the community. All of our efforts are intended to help advance our healthcare leaders as they help shape the future of the healthcare industry. The Thursday night dinner, hosted by SCHIMSS, will be held at the Francis Marion Hotel in downtown Charleston, SC offering a convenient and relaxed atmosphere for attendees. Friday's conference will be held at the College of Health Professions complex on Rutledge Avenue. The conference consists of expert speakers, networking opportunities, an awards ceremony, reception and more.
