The college started a $5 million capital campaign in July 2004 to help generate funds to enhance our college’s technology, scholarships, lectureships, and lab equipment to keep up with the growing demands of the health care industry. To date, we have raised more than $3.5 million in gifts and pledges towards our goal. To make a donation to the capital campaign or receive more information about ways to give click here or contact Wally Pregnall at (843) 792-1183 or email: pregnall@musc.edu. The college’s staff members began sales of its newly published cookbook, More than a Cookbook – A Legacy of Charleston Cooking, to raise money for the college’s Capital Campaign. Recipes included in the book are from CHP staff, faculty, the Dean of the college and even a couple of MUSC board members have added a recipe or two. These make great gifts for graduation, Father’s Day, etc. The cookbooks are $10 plus $3 for shipping and handling. Commemorative bricks are being sold as part of the college’s “Buy a Brick” campaign. You could have your very own brick inscribed with your name and program/graduation date on it in the college’s courtyard located at the new CHP building complex. Bricks cost $151.00 since the new address of our college is now 151 Rutledge Avenue. The new building dedication was held on April 7th to coincide with activities to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the college. Click on the link for details and photos.
