The CHEPS Seminar Series was launched in September of 2003, under the direction of Richard Lindrooth (Associate Director of CHEPS). The series is designed to facilitate discussion of current issues within health economics, health services research, and health policy. The quality of the research presented and of the speakers participating has been exceptionally high, placing the CHEPS Seminar Series among the best such outlets in the United States. The seminars are generally held on a semi-monthly basis. Participants from all disciplines at MUSC, as well as College of Charleston and University of South Carolina, are invited. There has been remarkable attendance from all disciplines across MUSC’s campus.
