Program objectives This year we will feature an outstanding speaker panel with topics ranging from airway to error. At the completion of the conference, participants should be able to: - Appreciate how drugs of abuse affect motivation circuits in the brain
- Demonstrate specific tasks CRNAs may undertake to help advance AANA's federal policy objectives
- Discuss the most commonly occurring errors in anesthesia
- Review anatomy of the lumbar and cervical spine
- Understand the process and basic costs associated with a typical CRNA benefit package
- Review the adverse effects of nitrous oxide
- Review basic airway assessment
- Discuss what types of technology will test for each type of competency
- Understand the principles of basic physics underlying echocardiography
