 | The College of Health Professions Complex | Established in 1966 to meet the need for more and better-prepared paramedical professionals, the College of Health Professions has consistently grown to meet the expanding demands for quality health care. Our growth has mirrored the explosive growth in health care as evidenced by our enrollment of more than 850 students, largest among the Medical University’s six colleges, and by our technologically advanced, state-of-the-art facility. The College of Health Professions continues to serve the citizens of South Carolina, the region and the nation by providing an environment for learning and discovery through education, applied research and the provision of health services. We strive to improve the delivery of quality health care to a diverse population through: interdisciplinary, entry-level, graduate, post-graduate, and continuing education, and the provision of direct services.
