MUSC Cholesterol Center

About our Center:

The MUSC Cholesterol Center began in 1992. It is a full time clinic to treat people with cholesterol and blood vessel problems with a goal to prevent heart disease. The Center conducts cholesterol screenings through South Carolina for businesses, church groups, health fairs, schools, etc. Check our Bulletin Board. The Center also conducts teaching sessions and 1-2 day work-shops for health professionals from throughout the United States. Programs are for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, pharmaceutical companies, and others. The Center has a active clinical research program studying various aspects of cholesterol problems.
