WebApps

What is WebApps?

WebApps provides web-based access to many applications; chief among them are Oacis (where webapps serves as the replacement for and improvement upon Passport) and Practice Partner. It also provides off-campus MUSC clients quick and easy access to network applications. The https://webapps.musc.edu/ site connects you with a Citrix Server which allows you to run network applications from any PC.

Do I need it?

If you used Passport, you will need to register for WebApps and download the software. Also, if you work off-campus but need access to many applications available via LYNX, you may need a WebApps account.

Where do I find the download software?

Both LYNX and non-LYNX Oacis users will need to install software. Go to the WebApps site to download the necessary files.

How do I access my Applications once my account is set up?

After getting set up with a WebApps account, you can go https://webapps.musc.edu/ to log in to your LYNX Web Applications.

What if I have problems?

Please contact the Help Desk at 2-9700 if you have any problems installing the software or using WebApps.
