To make your catering arrangements, please contact the catering coordinator at extension 4263, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Events should be requested no less than two working days (48 hours) in advance and must be confirmed by the catering coordinator. Our staff can always be reached at extension 4263 or fax 4257 for last minute details, questions, or requests. Your event may be planned using the MUSC Catering Services Guide and Menus. If you should require items not listed in the Guide or have a group of 50 or more, please let us provide assistance with your special request. Clean Up and After Hours Charges If your function requires clean up afterwards, you must request it with your order. A fee of $15.00 is charged for the clean up service. MUSC Catering uses disposable products as much as possible to allow customers to clean up after their function. If non disposable items, i.e. coffee urns, are used at a function, Catering will return to pick this these up as soon as possible after the lunch deliveries are made.If it is requested at the time the order is placed, that non disposablees be picked up at a specific time, Catering will consider it a clean up request and schedule it with the $15.00 fee. A fee of $40.00 is charged for the any function after 4:00 p.m. Flowers and Decorations The Catering Coordinator can assist you if your event should need flowers, centerpieces or special garnishes. There is a 20% service charge for this service. Linens Table linens are available to all events for $8.00 each Skirting are also available additionally for $14.00 each. Delivery Catering prices include delivery and setup where applicable. Delivery is available in the Hospital, Clinical Science Building, Library/Administration Building, Children's Resaerch Institute (delivery charge applies). College of Nursing (delivery charge applies), Gazes Building (delivery charge applies), College of Health Professions (delivery charge applies), Institute of Psychiatry (delivery charge applies), Basic Science Building, Hollings Cancer Center (delivery charge applies), Rutledge Towers (delivery charge applies), St. Francis Annex (delivery charge applies), University Guest House (delivery charge applies), Waring Historical Library (delivery charge applies), St. Lukes Chapel (delivery charge applies), Baruch Auditorium delivery charge applies), Sebring Aimar House (delivery charge applies). All deliveries to President's Office, Canon Park Place, CMH Hospital, Gazes /STB, 135 Cannon Street, 136 Rutledge Avenue, College of Health Professions, Wachovia and McClennan Bank, Wellness Center and Harbor View Tower Buildings, VA Hospital, Roper Hospital and ART Hospital require a van and will be charged $30.00 for this service. Food may be prepared for you to pick up when delivery is not available.The MUHA Catering Staff will do everything in its power to deliver your order at your requested time. On occasion however, volume may require us to deliver those orders which were placed first. If a conflict were to arise, the customer would be notified as soon as possible. Changes and Cancellations Changes and/or cancellations in the guaranteed number of guests must be made not less than 48 hours before the scheduled function in written form. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in charges for any cost incurred. Payment Payment for your event may be done by an IIT by check or Credit Card (Visa or Master Card or AMEX).
