Notes:

The teams submit five color coded vials to serve as experimental controls

1. One vials is stored on the shelf

2. One tube is exposed to extreme cold

3. One vials is exposed to very high doses of radiation

4. One vial is subjected to very high gravity (zero gravity is impossible to reproduce on earth for any length of time)

5. One tube gets to fly in space on the space shuttle
