We will use the three phase process as described in Chapter 12 of the EarthKAM Teacher’s Manual. :

Phase 1 - Getting Interested - Learning a new way of seeing and using it to pick an image of interest

Phase 2 - Getting Oriented - Finding out the basic information on the image - location, size, orientation, and key features

Phase 3 - Getting Deeper - Conducting an in-depth inquiry into the image
