Welcome to the EarthKAM Teacher Training Institute class “Working With Images”. This class is designed to be used along with the material in Chapter 12 of the EarthKAM Teacher’s Manual. It is intended to provide a supplemental practical example of a complete EarthKAM Investigation.

We will construct a case study on the Atacam Desert of Chile. This lesson will use the general techniques described in the Teacher’s Manual but will also suggest some alternative tools for consideration. This is not intended to imply that they are superior to the tools in the Teacher’s Manual but simply to give additional options rather than ‘reinventing the wheel”.
