The hectic pace of Comet collisions with Jupiter allowed far too
little time to enjoy the beautiful Australian countryside. However, a two day gap allowed
a quick "walkabout" to the Great Ocean Road. This is a 400 km breathtaking
experience running along the southeastern Victoria coast starting from Geelong. Running
between the Great Southern Ocean and the Otaway Mountain range it includes many scenic
attractions including a temperate rain
forest and the stunning Twelve Apostles. The entire Can Do Australia Team considered this the touring highlight of our visit.
