Activity 7: Creating a Web of Life
Here's a list of organisms (biotic factors) and materials (non-biotic factors) from Australia. Try to see how all things are part of a complex interacting system. Put the words below on 3 x 5 cards and attach a string to create signs to hang from necks. Have the children draw pictures of the organisms on the cards and jot notes about the animals.
Have the students sit or stand in a large circle and throw a ball of yarn to each other to create a web of life.
