Astronomy From Down Under

Can Do team members had the opportunity to fly aboard NASA's Kuiper Airborne Observatory (KAO) during the collision of Shoemaker-Levy 9 with Jupiter. Australia was the best place in the world to observe the event. Months before the trip training and preparations were being made.
