Master in Health Administration
This program is offered in two formats: executive and residential.

Residential MHA
Andrea W. White, Ph.D., Residential MHA program director.

The Residential MHA program is designed to develop the health care leaders of tomorrow. Students in this program will gain a comprehensive understanding of the health care system including socio-behavioral components and their impact on health care delivery. They will be able to provide an integrated approach to the management of health care professionals and facility operations as well as to apply concepts and managerial skills in a variety of areas within the health care system. Students are able to take electives in the areas of their career interests. Applications may be obtained online at http://www.musc.edu/es.

Executive MHA
Andrea W. White, Ph.D. Executive MHA program director

The Executive MHA program is designed for working health care professionals who wish to advance their careers. Using a combination of on-campus and Internet-based instruction, the program enables students to complete the coursework in two or three years, while continuing to work and live in their home communities.

Note: The MHA curriculum is almost identical for the Residential and Executive formats. The difference in the two programs is the delivery method and the field internship requirement for the residential MHA students.
