Certificate in Health Management Andrea W. White, Ph.D., coordinator. The Certificate in Health Management program offered by the Medical University of South Carolina’s Department of Health Administration and Policy (DHAP) is designed to meet the needs of those students pursuing Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at the Francis Marion University and the Citadel who wish to enter careers in, or related to, health management. The purpose of the program is to enable students enrolled in these M.B.A. programs to establish a specialized option in health management from the faculty of a nationally accredited program in health administration. The courses are delivered to students via the Executive MHA Program. MUSC delivers the program. Students receive certificates from MUSC upon completion of these courses with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 in the fifteen hour block of courses and upon receipt of the M.B.A. from their respective institution.
