The program is directed by the Steering Committee, with input from the members of the Advisory Committee at least annually (each). The Steering Commitee, through the Director, reports to NIGMS and the Dean of the MUSC College of Graduate Studies. The PhD trainee's research is guided by a supervisory committee of 3 DBBE faculty and 2 basic science faculty.
