(Education/Training/Seminars) Medical Spanish Intermediate Course

This summer the College of Nursing's Hispanic Health Initiatives office will be offering seven (7) weeks of an intermediate medical Spanish course.

This summer course, normally offered in the fall and spring semesters, discusses all manner of medical vocabulary, how to address pain with patients, reinforces grammar concepts important to building a rapport with patients and clients, and exposes its students to converstaional Spanish for four (4) hours a week.

The course can be taken for Nursing CE credits, as a COP/CON elective or just as a way to continue practicing your conversational Spanish based on medical situations.
