Welcome!
Welcome to Dr. Xuejun Wen's Research Group at Clemson University-Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Joint Bioengineering Program. Our research group has very broad research interests in novel biomedical materials and scaffolds, biomedical device design, fabrication, and testing, drug delivery, cellular/tissue engineering, stem cell biology, and regenerative medicine. Whether you are interested in enriching your pre-college or undergraduate research experience, pursuing your graduate study, postdoctoral training, establishing collaborations, or providing financial support to our innovative research projects, we will be glad to assist you. Our research goal is to develop clinically applicable tissue and organ repair strategies based on tissue engineering and regenerative medicine principles to enhance human health. Our short-term objective is to establish a University-level base for Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering, and Regenerative Medicine that offers essential research resources to feed the needs of local researchers for novel biomaterials, novel scaffolds, dynamic bioreactors, stem cells, animal models, and translational research.
Browse our Web site for more information about Dr. Wen's Research Laboratory for Regenerative Medicine. If you have any question or would like to communicate with us, please e-mail Dr. Wen at xjwen@clemson.edu or call Dr. Wen at (843)-792-5875 (Office) or (843)-792-5832 (Lab).
