Thawing cells

Date: January 22, 1991
1) Thaw vial quickly in a 37C water bath.
2) Immediately transfer cell suspension to a sterile, 15 ml conical centrifuge
tube and dilute with appropriate media.
--> Doubling volume at 1 minute intervals.
3) Spin cells down at ~1200 rpm for 10 mins, 4C.
4) Resuspend cells in 10 mls of media and count viability.
5) Spin cells down: ~1200 rpm, 10 mins, 4C.
6) Resuspend pellet in appropriate volume of media.
7) Seed cell suspension into flasks.
