Ordering Faculty Regalia

Participation by the Medical University of South Carolina's faculty in the May Commencement Ceremony has always been an essential part of creating a memorable day for all degree candidates and is strongly encouraged.

If you are in need of academic regalia for the ceremony, you may place an order with one of the many vendors available online.

Regalia for MUSC's candidates is provided by Oak Hall (http://www.oakhalli.com). Based in Roanoke, Virginia, Oak Hall is committed to providing quality services and keeping industry in the South alive and prospering. All materials used by Oak Hall's 400 plus employees come directly from the Carolinas.

You may visit the Oak Hall website to look at Academic Regalia available for purchase. Under the drop down menu called Caps & Gowns, choose Academic Regalia. After finding the regalia specific to your alma mater, you may call 1-800-223-0429 to place your order. No voice mails or menus! You always speak to a customer service representative personally! Please have measurements ready when you call (neck size, sleeve length, chest, height with shoes, and weight). You may also request a catalog which includes fabric samples.

Please be sure to order NO LATER THAN MARCH 30, 2008 for participation in the May 16th ceremony. However, if your order is late and cannot be provided by the ceremony date, Oak Hall will provide rental gowns and accessories to all faculty who have placed a purchase order at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
