The experience in protein expression/purification, mammalian cell transfection, confocal microscopy and routine molecular biology techniques is required.   • MULTIPLE TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITIONS
    DEPARTMENT OF IMMUNOBIOLOGY & CANCER IMMUNOLOGY

    The Department of Immunobiology & Cancer Immunology in conjunction with the Hollings Cancer Center (HCC) of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) invites applications for several open-rank tenure-track faculty positions with a research focus on cancer immunology, inflammation and tolerance.  HCC is a NCI designated cancer center with a strong commitment to fundamental and translational research in the areas of gene/drug discovery, lipid signaling, cancer immunology, and cancer prevention/control. HCC will provide state of the art laboratory spaces as well as cutting-edge research core facilities including flow cytometry, a cellular therapy facility, gene targeting/knockout and a translational research facility. Physician scientists, or candidates with strong interests in human immunology and translational research are encouraged to apply. 
    The successful candidates should hold a MD, PhD, MD/PhD or equivalent with a proven track record of scientific productivity and funding.  Investigators will be expected to maintain a nationally competitive research portfolio that fosters interdisciplinary collaborative research between the HCC and the newly created Department of Immunobiology & Cancer Immunology.
